Nazareth Guild Trivia Video – Starring The Balof’s
Manic Monday with the Balof Siblings from Walla Walla. Mary Elizabeth is a Junior at DeSales Catholic High School and her brother is in 8th grade at Assumption Catholic school. What a dynamic duo!
They both enjoy reading the bible and have been making sure to take the proper precautions while sharing the word of the Lord. We are glad to see no germs were spread in making this trivia video!
Their trivia question was based on Genesis 19, which tells the story of the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. Lot, Abraham’s nephew, lived in Sodom with his family. Two angels came into town and Lot invited them to stay with his family. The angels made sure Lot, his wife, and his two daughters left before God destroyed the city. As they fled, the angels warned them, “Escape for your life! Do not look behind you, and do not stay anywhere in the valley; escape to the mountains, or you will be swept away” (Genesis 19).
The question in yesterday’s trivia asked what happened to Lot’s wife when she ran and turned to look behind? The correct answer was she turned into a pillar of salt.
