Nazareth Guild Trivia Video – Starring Clare
Fri-YAY’s trivia video was brought to you by Clare, a first-grader at St. Mary Catholic school. Clare will be receiving a $25 gift card to O’Doherty’s Irish Grille.
And speaking of Irish – Clare’s trivia question had to do about a cross used in Ireland. This cross has a ring (or nimbus) surrounding the intersection of the cross. A popular Christian theory is that the ring is a halo, and the cross represents the sacrifice Jesus Christ made for us.
Clare’s trivia proposed the question: What is the name of this type of cross? (the correct answer is a Celtic Cross).
