Nazareth Guild Trivia Video – Starring Madeline Giancola
Thursday’s Trivia was brought to you all the way from Pasco. Madeline Giancola has been teaching in Catholic school since she graduated from Creighton University. She is currently the second-grade teacher at St. Patrick Catholic school.
In yesterday’s trivia video, Mrs. Giancola talked about Holy Week and how it holds such a special meaning for Catholics. Starting with Palm Sunday, we remember how Jesus triumphantly entered Jerusalem. Throughout the week, Catholics remember events that led up to his crucifixion and later, his Resurrection.
The Wednesday during Holy Week, between Palm Sunday and Good Friday, has a special name. Mrs. Giancola asked two questions about this day:
What is this special name? (Spy Wednesday)
Who is the spy? (Judas, who betrayed Jesus)
