Tuition Assistance Grants
Families submit an application online via FACTS Grant and Aid (a secure third party) and upload any required documents, such as tax forms and pay stubs. Based on the completion of their application, families/students are ranked in order of their calculated financial need, and grants are awarded in that order (starting with the greatest financial need) until funds are exhausted. A Nazareth Guild tuition assistance grant provides $500 for each qualifying student in grades K-12. All grant money goes directly to the school to help the school bridge the deferred revenue gap they face from providing financial assistance for families in need.
Special School Grants
These were the very first grants Nazareth Guild provided as a way for the schools to request anything they felt would benefit their school the most. The grants helped with overall operation costs, tuition assistance, marketing and development, curriculum needs, or facility repairs and maintenance.

Continuing Education
Nazareth Guild is committed to supporting the schools’ transformational leaders through grant programs that support and retain the absolute best leadership talent for our Catholic schools. Some grants helped teachers obtain their principal certification so they could stay within our system and advance their career within the Catholic schools in Eastern Washington. With the partnership of Gonzaga University, grants were provided so teachers could take classes through GU and earn credits so they could move up on the pay scale.
Teacher Initiative Grants
A generous donor started this initiative to show appreciation for teachers in the Catholic schools. Grants funded through this program are intended for innovative projects or initiatives that benefit students, classrooms, multiple grade levels, have a long-term impact, and foster spiritual growth. Teachers in the K-12 Catholic schools are invited to apply for a grant up to $500.

Did you know?
Tuition does not fully cover the cost of educating each child. All schools are in constant need of other funding sources in order to stay fiscally sound. Schools must raise additional funding through auctions, fundraisers, and grants from the Nazareth Guild. We are committed to supporting the schools through our programs. By supporting the Nazareth Guild through general gifts or the Celebration of Light, donors directly impact the schools.
