Holy Hoops is back!

Nazareth Guild hosted our first 3 vs.3 Parochial basketball jamboree at Tri-Cities Prep High School. We welcomed fourteen teams of 5th & 6th graders from nine different schools.

When asked what participants enjoyed most, some responses were:

“The great sportsmanship by all the players.”

“The Catholic community & the taco truck.”

“Traveling with kids from Spokane to compete with kids from other areas of our diocese and Yakima.”

Think Ahead Holy Hoops 2023

Get your teams ready!

Choose a Team Captain, a parent (coach), that will accompany and be responsible for the team, as well as during the Jamboree. Identify four players for the team (either a boys’ team OR a girls’ team) and think of a team name that is consistent with the Catholic faith. Be creative! Catholic Colleges (Gonzaga Giants, Carroll Crusaders, or The Notre Dames) Saints, parables, or biblical references (are just a few ideas).
